As your organization evolves, you may need to add or remove users from your HiHello account. You can manage your users easily from within your HiHello admin profile. Below, this guide will walk you through how to add or remove users from your account.
Please note that if you are already using all of your seats when you add a new user, this will add an additional seat to your plan and you'll see a prorated charge on your account within one month. If you do not wish to change the number of seats on your plan, please remove unnecessary users first before adding new users.
Removing Users
You can remove someone from your plan without affecting the number of seats or user licenses on your subscription.
To remove a user:
- Log into the HiHello Web App
- Select your admin profile
- Select the company profile icon on the left side of your screen:
- Click on the name of the person you want to remove from the account
- In the panel that appears on the right-hand side of the screen, click Remove from account.
This will free up a seat (one user license).
Removing a user will not delete their card(s), it will just free up a seat and remove their access to the Business subscription (and any company-issued cards and their associated contacts).
HiHello contacts are typically associated with specific cards. You can pause a card to deactivate it, but we recommend that you only delete a card when you are sure your company does not want the contacts associated with it.
Adding Users
To add a user to your plan, simply invite them to claim a company card. See this guide for more detailed information about inviting a user to claim a card:
As mentioned above, if all of the seats in your subscription are already taken, you can still invite new users to claim a card. After they claim the card, our system will automatically add another seat to your subscription and you will receive a prorated invoice within a month.
