In order to give you full control over your data and privacy, HiHello has a feature that allows you to renew the link to your digital business card. When you renew the link, your card will get a new URL and QR code. The old link and QR code will stop working, so anyone who received your card in the past will no longer have access to the old link.
If you choose to disable search engine indexing for your card, it can take a few days or weeks for search engines to clear the cached version of your card saved in their systems. If you wish to remove your card from public searches immediately, you can disable search engine indexing and renew the link to your card.
Please note that this cannot be undone. If you renew the link to your card, the previous link and QR code will no longer work.

How to Renew Your Card Link in the Web App
To renew your link in the web app on your computer:
- Log in to your account on the web app.
- Go to your Cards page and select the card you want to update.
- Navigate to the Settings tab:
- Scroll down to the Renew Link section and click the Renew button:
How to Renew Your Card Link in the Mobile app
To renew your card link in the HiHello mobile app:
- Log in to your account in the HiHello mobile app.
- On your Cards page, select the card you wan to update.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner:
- Tap Settings to view your card settings.
- Tap Renew card link and then tap Continue.
