Due to changes Apple has made to their Apple Mail product, updating or adding new email signatures to Apple Mail for iOS is not working at this time. |
The following steps will guide you through adding an email signature to the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad.
Adding Your Signature to Apple Mail for iOS
- Log into the HiHello mobile app
- Tap Discover at the bottom of your screen
- Tap Email Signatures
- Tap Login to Web and then tap OK
- Open the email you receive in the Apple Mail app and tap the link:
- Select the card you want to use
- Choose a design:
- Tap Apple Mail iPhone/iPad
- Then tap Generate Signature and Copy:
- Open your device settings and scroll down until you see the Mail icon:
- Scroll down and select Signature:
- Select All Accounts or Per Account and paste the signature.
Please note, choosing All Accounts will add the email signature to all email accounts added to Apple Mail. Selecting Per Account allows you to customize the email signature for each email account added to the Mail app.
- Open the Mail app, create a new email, and your email signature will automatically be added to the email:
Troubleshooting Errors
- My signature has stopped working, it looks like a question mark.
Our email signatures have stopped working on some iOS devices because of an update from Apple and our team is working on a long-term solution.
Our team has discovered a workaround for you to try so that you can continue to use your HiHello email signature on your iPhone. Rather than copying the email signature from our web app on your phone and then pasting it directly into your email settings, please try the following steps:
- Follow the usual steps to create and copy your email signature in the HiHello web app on your computer
- Open your Apple Mail program on your computer
- Compose a new message
- Paste the HiHello signature into the body of the email
- Either save the email as a draft or send it to yourself
- On your phone, open the email with your HiHello signature
- Copy the signature from the body of the email
- Go to your email signature Settings page
- Paste your HiHello signature into the Signature field
