As you prepare for your next conference or networking event, leverage HiHello to automatically collect and tag contacts. With HiHello Company Events, you can create an event and select which team members will be attending. During the event, all of the new contacts your selected team members add to their accounts will automatically be tagged and organized so that you can easily identify who you met at the event.
How to Create a New Company Event
To set up a new event for your team:
- Log into your account on your computer
- Make sure that you are viewing your admin profile by using the drop-down menu in the top right
- Click the events icon on the left side bar to view your Events page:
- Click + New Event in the upper right:
- In the window that opens, you can enter the event name, dates, a description, and an optional photo:
- On the next page, you can create a tag for the event with the option to also add an icon. All of the contacts you meet during the event will automatically receive this tag.
- Lastly, you can select which cards will be attending the event:
- If you have used templates to create your company cards, you can click on the Filters button to select which templates you'd like to view to make it even easier to select the right cards:
- You can then create your event and it will appear on your events page.
How to Edit an Event
Now that you've created your event, you can view the upcoming event or makes changes as needed. Here is a breakdown of what you'll see when you click on your upcoming event on your Events page:

The Experience for Your Team
After you create your event and add attendees, the attendees will get a push notification on their phone if they have notifications enabled. All users, regardless of their notification status, will see an alert the next time they log into their HiHello mobile app:
If they go to their Events page in the mobile app, they can read more about the event:
They will also be notified when the event starts and see a small banner over their card during the entire event:
