HiHello's powerful new HubSpot integration allows you to use custom field mapping when you sync your HiHello contacts to HubSpot. New HubSpot Integration VS Legacy HubSpot Integration
If you are currently using the legacy HubSpot integration and are curious about switching to the new integration, the table below explains the major similarities and differences between the two integrations. Please note that once you switch from the legacy HubSpot integration to the new HubSpot integration, it is not possible to switch back.

*If the email address on a synced HiHello card matches an email address in your HubSpot account, that team member will become the owner of the new Contact. If there is no email address on the selected HiHello card or if the email address does not have a match in your HubSpot account, then the Contact owner in HubSpot will be the person who initiated the sync between HubSpot and HiHello.
Connecting HiHello to HubSpot
To set up the new HubSpot integration in your HiHello account:
- Log into the HiHello Web App.
- Select your admin profile using the drop-down menu in the upper right corner.
- Click the gear icon on the left side of the screen to go to the Settings page:
- Navigate to the Integrations tab and click Connect next to the new HubSpot integration:

In the window that opens, you will see an overview tab and a configuration tab:
- Overview tab - This tab includes information about the integration and instructions for setting it up.
- Configuration tab - This tab is where you can connect to HubSpot and set up workflows.
- Click Connect again to log into your HubSpot instance.
- In the window that opens, choose which account you want to connect to:
- If prompted, click "Connect App."
- You will be redirected back to HiHello where you can now set up a Contact workflow
- After you set up your workflows, all new contacts added to HiHello will automatically sync to HubSpot instance. If you would like to sync existing contacts, please click the "Sync" button on your Integrations tab. We recommend only using the manual sync button once after creating or updating a workflow.
Setting up a Contact Workflow
- Click the "Sync contact" toggle on the Configuration tab:
- You can now configure what information about contacts will sync from HiHello to HubSpot. You have the option to set a default contact owner, however, this step is not required.
- If you select a default owner, then this person will become the owner of the new contacts that are added to your HubSpot instance from HiHello.
- If you leave the "Default Owner" field blank, then all contacts will be assigned to the HubSpot user who originally established the integration.
- You also have the option to select from an existing HubSpot campaign.
Please note that the "Record Type" field MUST be set to Contact:
- As you scroll down, in the left column, select the fields in HubSpot and in the right column, select the corresponding fields from HiHello that you would like to sync from each contact.
