You can edit contacts in your HiHello address book at any time to ensure that the details on your Contacts page are always accurate and current. Depending on which device you are using, you can jump to the correct section below:
Editing Contacts in the Web App
In the web app, you can edit all of a contact's details individually. You can also edit certain information or delete contacts in bulk.
First, log into your account on the web app. Once you are logged in:
- Go to your Contacts page:
- To edit a single contact, select the contact you would like to update, this will open a tray on the right of your screen:
- Click Edit Contact at the top of the tray to update the contact
- On the edit page, you can update your contact's name, employment details, contact details, social media links, website, and more. You can also change the contact type to assign it to a different card in your account. With a paid subscription, you can add notes and tags. - When you are finished editing your contact, click Save to confirm your changes and save the contact:
- To update or delete contacts in bulk, you can click the box to the left of contacts to highlight them:
- To select all of your contacts, click the box on the top left of the Contacts table:
- At the moment, you can delete contacts in bulk or assign them to a new card. To change the associated card, click the button and then select the new card from the menu that opens and then click Confirm:
Editing a Contact in the Mobile App
First, log into your account on the mobile app. Once you are logged in:
- Go to your Contacts page
- Select the contact you would like to update
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner:
- Select "Edit"
- On the edit page, you can update your contact's name, employment details, contact details, social media links, website, and more. You can also change the contact type to assign it to a different card in your account. With a paid subscription, you can add notes and tags. - When you are finished editing your contact, tap Save in the top right to confirm your changes and save the contact.
