Once you have created a template and issued template cards to your team, you can use your template to update multiple cards simultaneously. For instance, if your office moves to a new location and gets a new address, rather than updating each card individually, you can update the address on your template which will update the address on every card connected to that template.
To update a template:
- Log into your HiHello account on the web app
- Go to your admin profile rather than your personal profile
- Go to your Templates page by clicking the Templates icon on the left side panel:
- Select the template you would like to update then click the Edit button indicated by a pencil icon in the upper right:
You can now navigate to the Display, Information, Fields, or Template tabs to update the template. Click Save to confirm any changes and update the template.
After you update the template, all of the cards connected to that template will also be updated. You or your team members may need to refresh your screen to see the update reflected on your cards. To update your account on the web app, simply use your browser's refresh button. To update your account on the mobile app, pull down briefly on your screen and then release.
Please note that items on the template marked as optional will not automatically update on the associated cards. If you would like items to update automatically when you make changes to your template, ensure that those items are marked as required on the template.
