You can sync your personal HiHello contacts with your Google Contacts to easily access contacts across both platforms. The integration is managed on the Settings page of your personal profile. If you are an admin, please switch from the central admin profile to your personal profile to establish the sync.
Our Google Contacts integration is available with any of our paid subscriptions. If you currently have a free HiHello account and want to take advantage of this feature, you can read about this integration and all of the other premium subscription features here and decide if an upgrade is the right choice for you.
Sync With Google Contacts on the Web App
To sync your HiHello contacts with your Google account:
- Log into the HiHello web app.
- If you are an admin in a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise account, use the drop-down menu in the top right corner to switch to your personal profile.
- Click the gear on the left side of your screen to go to your Settings page:
- Navigate to the integrations tab.
- Click the "Connect" button next to the Google integration:
- Sign into your Google account.
- Select Allow:
- Back in HiHello, use the toggles to select which cards you'd like to sync.
- The contacts associated with the selected cards will appear in your Google Contacts account.
- At the bottom of the page, you can select if you'd like new cards you create to automatically start syncing to your Google Contacts.
- To create a two-way sync, click the "Import Google contacts to HiHello" toggle and your Google contact list will be imported into your HiHello Smart Address book.
- Your contacts will appear in about an hour and they will sync every 6 hours after the initial connection.
Sync With Google Contacts on iOS
After syncing your Google contacts on your iOS device, you will be able to see your HiHello contacts on your phone and you'll also be able to add the contacts from your phone seamlessly to your HiHello account.
To sync your Google Contacts on iOS:
- Log into the HiHello mobile app on your iOS device.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Integrations:
- Under Google Contacts, tap Connect:
- Tap Continue.
- Choose the Google account that you would like to sync.
- Tap Allow to give HiHello permission to sync with your Google Contacts.
- Select the contact groups that you would like to sync (Please note, your HiHello contacts are grouped by the cards you send to people. For example, anyone who received your “Work” card will be in your “Work" group.)
- At the bottom of the page, you can select if you'd like new cards you create to automatically start syncing to your Google Contacts.
- To create a two-way sync, click the "Import Google contacts to HiHello" toggle and your Google contact list will be imported into your HiHello Smart Address book.
- When you are finished setting up your integration, tap Start Syncing at the bottom of your screen:
- Your contacts will appear in about an hour and they will sync every 6 hours after the initial connection.
