What is included in a virtual background?
When you create a virtual background with HiHello, your custom background will include an image of your choice, a QR code that links to your digital business card, your logo, name, title, company, preferred name, and pronouns. If you would like to update the information that is included in your virtual background, you can simply edit your digital business card. Here are links with more information about updating your card:
After you update your card, you can go to your Virtual Backgrounds page and create a new virtual background. Here is a video with more information about creating a background:

Where can I use my HiHello virtual background?
HiHello virtual backgrounds can be added to Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Skype, and more. If you use your HiHello virtual background on another video platform, let us know!
Why does my background look mirrored on Zoom?
Please note that Zoom sometimes has a mirroring effect—while your background may appear backward to you, it will display correctly to everyone else on the call. If you find the mirroring effect distracting, you can disable the “Mirror my video” setting in the Video section of the Settings on Zoom.

Why does my background look cropped?
If your entire HiHello virtual background image isn’t showing or appears cropped, you may need to adjust your camera or video call settings. If the issue persists after adjusting your camera and call settings, please contact our support team.
Why can't I add my virtual background to Google Meet on Safari?
Google Meet has only enabled virtual backgrounds when using Chrome. If you are not able to add a virtual background in another web browser, please try switching to Google Chrome.
