Add a Virtual Background on Google Meet

After you have created a HiHello virtual background, you can add it to Google Meet for your video conferences.

To add a virtual background on Google Meet:

• Open Chrome as your browser (virtual backgrounds for Google Meet do not work in other browsers).
• Start a meeting.
• Click the three-dot menu near the bottom of your screen.
• Click Backgrounds and effects:

• Under Backgrounds > Blur and personal, click the image icon to upload your own image:

• Upload your HiHello virtual background and select it to apply it to your meeting:

Please note that Google Meet uses a mirror effect, so your background will look reversed to you. However, for everyone else on the call, your background will look normal, exactly like the background you generated in your HiHello account.
