Syncing Contacts With Microsoft Outlook Exchange

This feature allows you to easily access all of your HiHello contacts on Microsoft Outlook Exchange and also allows you to import your Outlook contacts into HiHello through the HiHello web app.

This feature is only available through your personal profile. If you are an admin in a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise account, you will not be able to establish this integration in the central admin profile. 

To set up your Microsoft Outlook Exchange integration:

• Log into the HiHello web app.
• If you are an admin in a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise account, use the drop-down menu in the upper right of your screen to switch to your personal profile.
• Click the gear on the left side of your screen to go to your Settings page:

• On the Integrations tab, click on "Connect" next to where it says Exchange:

• You will be prompted to sign into your Microsoft Exchange account.
• Click Accept:

Once you accept HiHello’s permission request, you can manage the connection from the Integrations tab of your HiHello account. You can click the toggle next to the cards you would like to sync:

You can choose which cards’ contacts you want to sync. Please note that your HiHello contacts are grouped by the cards you send to people. For example, if you sync your "Work" card to Microsoft Outlook Exchange, any contacts who received your “Work” card will sync. If you want to change the card that a contact is associated with, you can edit them on your HiHello Contacts page.

You can also select if you'd like new cards to automatically start syncing to your Exchange Contacts.

If you want to sync your Exchange contacts with HiHello, scroll down and turn on the toggle labeled "Import Exchange contacts to HiHello." Doing so will add all of your Exchange contacts to your HiHello address book. Once the import toggle is turned on, it may take up to an hour for your contacts to appear. After the initial connection, your contacts will sync every six hours.

You can disable the sync at any time by clicking the Disconnect button at the bottom of the page.
