Normally, the very last step after someone receives your card and saves your contact details is a page that allows your new contacts to sign up for HiHello. That way, they can create a card of their own if they loved receiving yours. If you would prefer not to show this prompt to your new contacts, you can turn it off. This option is available to all paid subscribers. If you currently use a free, personal HiHello account and would like to take advantage of this feature, you can upgrade your account here.
To enable or disable the prompt:
- Log into your account on the HiHello web app.
- If you have a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise account, use the drop-down menu in the top right to switch to your admin profile:
- Click the gear icon in the left side panel to go to your Settings page:
- Navigate to the Contact Exchange tab.
- Scroll down to the "Get the App" prompt and select "On" if you want the prompt to appear and "off" if you do not want your new contacts to see this prompt:
- Click Save to update your contact exchange preferences.
This will apply to all of the cards in your account. If you are an admin for a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise account, this will apply to all company-owned cards.
Paid subscribers can create custom contact exchange forms and include consent agreements. To find out more, check out this page in our Help Center:
If you have a HiHello Business or HiHello Enterprise subscription, you can also create custom lead capture forms. You can find out more here:
