HiHello cards include multiple interactive features you can use when you have an internet connection, however, you can also share your contact details via HiHello when you are offline. In this guide, we'll show you how to share your contact details when you are offline, and we'll also provide a breakdown of which features are available in the HiHello mobile app when you are not connected to the internet.
Sharing your HiHello Card Offline
If you think you'll need to share your card offline, please ensure that you log into the HiHello app before you lose your internet connection.
- Open the HiHello mobile app
- Go to your Cards page
- Scroll to the card you want to share
- Tap "Share" at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the QR code to switch to offline sharing mode
- You will be presented with an adapted QR code that you can share offline:
- Share this QR code with your new contact and they will be able to save your contact details even if they don't have an internet connection
The offline QR code will not include all of the same features as your digital business card, but it will allow others to save some of your contact details directly on their phone. They will be able to save the following information:
- Name
- Company
- Title
- Phone
- HiHello card link - this will allow them to view your digital business card at a later time and see and share all of your other contact details, as well as any photos or videos you have added to your card.
You can tap your QR code again to go back to the original version that allows users to experience your full digital business card online.
