What is the ideal size and resolution for my logo?
The ideal image for the Logo field on a HiHello card depends on the card design you've selected and how you would like your logo to appear on the card.
Logos should be tightly cropped (no white space around them) to make them appear as large as possible on the card. A transparent background (PNG) and logo colors with light and dark backgrounds will yield the best results.
The logo file must be under 20 MB and in one of the following formats:
jpg
jpeg
png
The logo from your digital business card also appears on virtual backgrounds and email signatures, so we recommend using a high-resolution logo with a minimum size of 512x512 pixels.
With the Classic design, we recommend a square logo with a 1:1 aspect ratio. The field for a logo in this design is perfectly square, so a square logo will fill all of the available space.
Professional, Business, and Enterprise subscribers can use the Modern, Sleek, and Flat card designs. With these designs, the logo can stretch to fill a wider space. You can experiment with various aspect ratios until you find the one that makes your logo fit on your card the way you would like it to. Generally, an aspect ratio of approximately 8:1 will allow your logo to fill the entire card from left to right.
When choosing a logo to upload to customize your QR code, we recommend a 1:1 aspect ratio with a minimum of 332x332 pixels.
Additional card designs and customized QR codes are premium branding features included in our Professional, Business, and Enterprise subscriptions. If you are interested in using these premium features, you can find out more about our subscription plans here.
What is the ideal size for a badge?
With HiHello Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans, you can add multiple logos, accreditations, and affiliation badges to your card by using the badge feature:
While editing your card, navigate to the Display tab, tap Badge, and then select the image you'd like to use.
The ideal size for badges is always the highest resolution available. Badges are resized to a width of 256 pixels, with height adjusted to maintain the correct aspect ratio.
The ideal aspect ratio for badges would be a maximum of 49:10. If the aspect ratio becomes wider than 32:10, you will start to see quality degradation when the badge is added to your card. The maximum file size is 20 MB.
