With a HiHello Professional, Business, or Enterprise account, you can add Google Tag Manager to your cards to track your data. This article will guide you through the steps to set up your tracking on the HiHello web app.
Please note, before you can set up tracking, you’ll need to know your Google Tag Manager Container ID. You can find your Container ID on Google Tag Manager’s homepage to the right of your Container Name and Container Type. Container IDs begin with the letters GTM and are followed by a string of letters and numbers (for example, GTM-1A2B3C4). You may want to make a new container specifically for your digital business card—you can do this by clicking Create Account on the GTM homepage.
Add Google Tag Manager Tracking to Your Card
- Log into the HiHello web app
- Go to your Cards page
- Select the card you want to track
- Click the gear icon above your card to view your Card Settings:
- In the Card Settings menu, select Add tracking code:
- Select Google Tag Manager:
- Enter your Container ID then click ADD:
Viewing Your Business Card's Tracking Data
Once you’ve added your Container ID to your card, log in to your Google Tag Manager account to view your data. It may take a few minutes to collect, but data for your digital business card will appear.
