When someone scans your QR code, the majority of the interaction takes place on their device, so we are not able to automatically capture their contact details. We will send them a prompt asking them to share their contact details back to you, though they have the choice to opt out.
While sharing your HiHello card via QR code is the fastest way to share your card, if you would like to capture your recipient's contact details automatically, we recommend sharing your card via text or email instead.
When you share your card by text or email through the HiHello app, we will automatically create a new contact on your HiHello Contacts page so that you can follow up.
Sending your card via text or email will also mean that your digital business card ends up in your new contact's inbox workflow.
