When you send your HiHello card to someone, they will have multiple options for saving your contact details.
Connecting in HiHello
If the person who receives your card is a HiHello user, they can view your card in the HiHello app and connect with you to become live contacts using the HiHello Self-Healing Address Book.
Saving Details by Email or Text
If the person who receives your card is not a HiHello user, they will be able to view your card in their web browser. When viewing your card, they can choose to text it to themselves, email it to themselves, or save your contact details directly on their device.
To text or email the card to themselves:
- Tap SAVE CONTACT at the bottom of the card:
- Select Email and enter their email address OR select Text and enter their phone number:
- Tap SEND
Saving Details Directly to a Phone
If the person who receives your card is not a HiHello user, they will be able to view your card in their web browser. When viewing your card, they can choose to text it to themselves, email it to themselves, or save your contact details directly on their device.
To save your contact details on their device:
- Tap SAVE CONTACT at the bottom of the card:
- Tap ADD TO CONTACTS:
- This will exit HiHello and the rest of the steps will be completed according to your phone's operating system.
Saving Contact Details on iOS
On the next screen, tap Create New Contact:
You can then edit the information on the contact, as needed. After you have made any edits or adjustments, click Done to finish saving the contact.
Saving Contact Details on Android
The exact process of saving a new contact can sometimes vary between Android devices, however, the basic steps required will be the same. After clicking Add to Contacts in HiHello, tap Download to download the VCF contact file and then tap Open to open it and view the contact. This will take you out of HiHello and you'll complete the rest of the steps within your phone's operating system.
While viewing the new contact, tap Import:
